Greetings from the bar at the Hollywood Improv. I had an audition this afternoon, but it was on the other side of town. So to avoid LA traffic -- which is more frustrating than Amish porn -- I decided to kill a few hours here while the traffic dies down.

Ain't I brilliant?

So I got some interesting news today; keep your fingers crossed but if all goes well, later this year I will have "another" amazing experience. And that's all I'm going to say.

This audition was cool too, I meet two actors who were both in weirdly obscure, but very cool late 80's/early 90's movies. Micheal Monks (from "Out On A Limb") & Googy Gress "Vibes".

They were such fun movies and so see both of those guys at an audition was really (to be very 80's) awesome!

Well, I'm going to get going, I ordered some food....

Oh, food's here. Bye.

Holy shit on a stick of shit, I have not blogged in almost a month! Fuck.

In my defense I've been really busy. And lazy. But mostly busy.

There's a big issue going on in my life now that's been taking up a lot of time and is the cause of a lot of stress. I don't want to get into it here, but trust me when I say that it's really taking it's toll on me.

Now before I get an outpouring of sympathy and questions, all I'll say is that it's a problem with a solution; it's just the solution itself is also stressful. But, as with most of life's problems, it's there to be solved. I'm just feeling overwhelmed because it's something I've never had to deal with, so I'm feeling lost.

It's funny, my whole life I've had things happen and I've managed to rise to the challenge and come through it. Sometimes beaten, but still alive and kicking. And this time is no exception, it's just this thing is something I never thought I'd ever have to deal with. But that's life, isn't it? If it was predictable, it wouldn't be exciting, now would it?

Man, I'm asking myself a lot of questions here, aren't I? - Ooo, there's another.

OK, onto happier things.

Well, something cool that came up is that Skippy, thanks to Criag Gass, will be opening for KISS!

Yes, the KISS!

It's part of something called The Kiss Kruise. It's a 5 day cruise to the Bahama's with all KISS fans. And Craig was asked to be an opener for them (along with other bands like Skid Row) and he wanted to bring another comic to warm up the crowd; make it feel like a regular comedy show. And Craig is a fan of Skippy's, so he asked if I'd be interested.

Hmm...? YES!

And I get to bring Allison, so it's a free vacation PLUS we get to meet KISS!

It's going to be epic.

And I've been performing around town, doing a show tonight as Skippy, so aside from this one, big issue...life's alright.

Again, sorry for the lack of blogging. I hate when I slack on this. This thing used to be so important to me, now it feels like a hassle.

I'm going to promise to try to be more up to date with this, but let's be honest, I will slack off.

And I tried to do that podcast...was a disaster. Maybe I should go another direction.

Alright, I'm off.
