I can't believe how cold it's been lately in south Florida. This is insane; it's been in the 30's. I know that's not the worst cold weather in the country, but for fucks sake, this is Florida damit!

So I'm in Marco Island starting my weekend run at Off The Hook Comedy Club. I did some radio this morning, it was fun. Apparently I'm doing a show tomorrow morning at a strip club down here. Well, they asked me to (the radio guys), but I'm not sure really.

As much as I love strip clubs and I love being the center of attention...they really don't go together. I'd rather just watch and stay out of the limelight. :)

My week in Miami was great. Skippy went up for the late shows on Friday and Saturday. Friday night killed, Saturday...well, not so much. But it's funny, as much as I felt Saturday sucked (and I left right after my show), I was told people still wanted to buy some shirts and CDs. So I guess you never know, huh?

Oh, speaking of Skippy, I was told that he won't be on Latino 101 tomorrow night, but he will be featured on the show starting Jan. 21. Check local listings.

You know what's funny...in that last sentence, I initially wrote "...I won't be on Latino 101..." and then I went back to make it "he". It's so funny.

...or not.

So now I'm at a Starbucks. I'm trying to work on the Skippy show for the UCB show next month. I've just got to tweak the show I did earlier this year. But I want to re-structure it a bit. I've had a few ideas, but nothing really jumps out at me yet. I know I'll figure it out.

Anyway, I'm off to the hotel to get ready for my show. Later kids.

So I came from writing at a coffee shop straight to The Haha Cafe for my set tonight...and I'm kinda early, so I figured I'd just blog a bit and start the December blog off with a bang...or a slight skittle.

I don't know what that meant.

Things have been good lately; just busy and about to travel again to Florida. This time for a month (not counting my drive to The Punchline in Atlanta for New Years).

I also recently recorded a rough demo for a theme song to a tv project I'm working on. (cough - Skippy - cough). Nothing official or anythying, just a "presentation" that I'll, hopefully, be able to show some big time people.

And speaking of Skippy, the new season of Latino 101 premieres Dec. 17 and Skippy is supposed to be on it! Check ya'll's local listings.

Wow, "ya'll's" actually has two apostrophes in it; weeeiiirrrd.

So anyway, I did this theme song all by my lonesome. Well, the music is from the Skippy song, "Man About Town", which was actually written by Henry Phillips...but I wrote the lyrics and recorded it myself. That's gotta count for something, right?

Fuck, my stomach's feeling weird. I know this feeling all too well.

It sucks. I love coffee, it helps me wake up and gives me that energy I need before a show and, especially, in the morning. But most of the time it will do havoc to my stomach. And right now I feel havoc starting. It's like how a dog knows an earthquake is about to hit. My stomach is barking right now.

And soon a big crack will open up - OK, I'll shut up now.

So I'm just going to get ready for my set. I actually had a shitty show last night. Long story short, there was a drunk asshole and his girl with him and they were sitting right on stage and commenting throughout everyone's set. And I just knew he was going to be a problem and when I said to two different people to shut him up, they didn't.

And then when I got up there I basically told the guy to shut up, I wasn't going to look at him (I was looking straight ahead avoiding eye contact with him) because I didn't want him to think he was going to be part of my show at all.

I fucking hate when people think they're helping and when the club does NOTHING to get rid of him. And after I was done (and pretty much tanked)...THEN he left!

Mother fucker.

Tonight's crowd is lighter than last night, but if they are nice then I'd rather have them.

Alright, I'm off.
