Greetings from the white snowy land of Anchorage, Alaska. I'm working this week up here at Chilkoot Charlies; one of my favorite clubs to perform at. And Allison is here too, so that makes it a whole lot easier.

But the big news is that my movie, 30 Nights of Paranormal Activity With The Devil Inside The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" has been released! It's so weird that this thing that I filmed almost a year ago is actually out and being watched (and trashed) by people all over the world.

Yes, there are a number of people who think it sucks, and you know what, they're entitled to their opinion. But I think those people are taking this film WAAAAAY too seriously. It's a silly, stupid, random, funny spoof movie. Seriously, leave your expectations at the door and just go in ready to laugh...it also helps if you're stoned. :)

There have also been some favorable reviews as well. People who realize just what I said; it's a stupid, fun movie.

Again, like comedy, it's all subjective, so I'm not offended or pissed at bad reviews. It's all part of the game, ya know?

The buttom line for me is that it was an amazing experience that I'll never forget and I know it will not be the last time I make a movie. And I've made some really great friends throughout the process as well. A few of the cast members came over to do the latest WFD Podcast last week, and we had a blast. We all watched the movie and then did the show.

Anyyyywho, so now Ally and I are in the comedy house just chilling (pardon the "Alaska/cold" pun) and getting ready for our show. I am so ready to get home and relax.

We didn't even unpack after we got back from Florida because we knew we were coming here less than a week later. But after this week, we are home for a while. I'm not going anywhere until mid February, so I'm going to enjoy that down time. But not get bored, I got a lot of things to work on.

OK, we are off to do some sight seeing..."Hey, it's snow. Ok, back home."

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! (almost 2 weeks too late, I'm aware of that)

So it's 3 days until my movie "officially" comes out. I say "offically" because, apparently, it was released somewhere and wsa then immediately pirated. I guess that's the norm nowadays.

So I'll be losing some money on residuals; sucks, but what can you do? You can't go around checking to see who's pirating it. But when it is offically released in a few days, I'll start raking in those tens of dollars. :)

There are already some reviews out; most of which are pretty shitty. These "critics" are looking at the movie in the wrong way. It's not supposed to be taken seriously at all, it's a silly, stupid spoof movie. There are, however, some reviews that pretty much nailed it. A couple of my favorite quotes are:

"(this movie) would be best enjoyed in a room full of friends with drinks flowing and popcorn flying...it's a party movie, and the more, the merrier." (FilmFracture.com), "a silly and random movie...(that) keeps on suprising all throughout, with the many stuff it keeps throwing at you."

That's it. Silly and full of pop culture references; you just go in expecting nothing but some laughs.

I'm sure you guys will enjoy it. :)

I'm off to do a show at the Funky Buddha in Boca Raton tonight. So I'll talk to ya later.
