Holy shit, I can't believe I didn't blog AT ALL this month. Glad I can sneak this one in. Whew!

So, this month has lacked any blogging for 2 main reasons. 1 - I have been busy with touring (not to mention a wicked case of the flu) and 2 - Damn, I've just been lazy.

Just lazy people; sorry.

So let's play a quick game of catch up. I had fun working in El Paso & Tahoe. As a matter of fact, I just uploaded a new podcast I recorded up in Tahoe. Check it out: What's For Dinner Podcast #12. You might noticed I abbreviate the podcast as "WFD". Some people have said that it's like Marc Maron's WTF Podcast. Please know that I am not, it's just easier to call it "WFD". But I digress.

I like doing the podcast now. I think I'm kinda getting the hang of it. I need to record a new one for next week. That's the problem, being as regular as possible. It's so hard to stand out in the field, but then again, my only real reason for doing this was to prove that I could. I'll tell ya something else, it really is an incite into who I truly am. Because there is no script, no real structure to my show. (as with most comic podcast's I suppose) But it's pretty much me just leading the conversation. So I can't rely on jokes or bits; it's all just me and my guest. Although sometimes I'll throw in a pre-recorded joke or bit...but that's rare.

So what else?

Well Ally and I just splurged on ourselves this past Memorial Day. We bought us each recliners. I swear to Woody (Allen) that I've always, always, ALWAYS wanted a recliner...and now I've got one. It is sooooo damn comfortable. And last night we were both sitting in ours and I had this premonition that these chairs are going to be with us for a long time. Like in 15 years we're going to have kids and tell them stories about when mommy & daddy first got our big chairs...We both plan on having incredibly boring stories to tell our kids.

Wow, I can't believe I actually said I'd tell stories about chairs. "Daddy, what was it like to meet George Carlin & perform with him?" - "Fuck that little Flip, let me tell you about daddy's chair!" - "Man Dad, your stories suck!"

Well fuck that kid, I don't care. I love this chair.

So yeah, we treated ourselves. I am usually not that prone to spending money like that, but I figured what the hell. We can afford it...and Ashely Furniture was having a 'buy one, get one free' sale on the chairs. :)

Other than that and the touring around, things have been quiet. Oh, like I said, I had the flu really bad. As a matter of fact, check this picture out:

I was really out of it...and yes, that is a Simpsons Snuggie.

I swear, I'd never had the flu like that before. Night sweats AND chills at the same time. Vomiting, fever, shakes. It was awful...that's the last time I try to watch Showgirls for the 10th time. Too much.

Ha!...and I actually have seen it close to 10 times. I know I've mentioned this before, but I still can't believe how bad that movie is!

Just soooo bad, that it's brilliant!

I'm a fan of all of those films like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Grease 2, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Phantom of the Paradise; I mean the list goes on and on.

Well speaking of "on", I best be moving on. I'll be honest, I probably won't blog tomorrow, so this will (most likely) be the only blog for May 2012.

I hope you all will be ok with that. Loves ya!
