I can't believe the tour is almost over. Only 3 more shows (possibly 4) and we are done. Insane. Just insane.

This has been one of the coolest experiences I've ever had; both professionally and personally. I can't begin to express how grateful I am to Pablo and Bob (our promoter) and all the people of Europe who came to the shows. It's really unbelievable. And it's going to be such a mind fuck to go back to "real life" again.

I mean I've toured before; done longer streches on the road really. But it's just that this was a European tour. Top hotels, flying everywhere (except throughout Sweden where we had our van, "Black Mama"), incredible venues. Now I've got to go back to condos, driving and nice (but smaller) clubs. And I do have to admit that I love the intimacy of a club, but nothing beats the energy of a theater. Nothing.

Oh, speaking of which, last night we did our show at the Oslo Concert Hall, and oh my god, was that a beautiful place. We also performed in front of our biggest crowd, 1400 people! Unreal. And to those people who were there, I am going to upload our video, but it will be part of a collage I'm going to make of ALL of the videos from the tour. So it will be up in about a week or so.

Anyway, I'm just watching a live Brian Wilson concert and then I'm going to go to the venue. I'm a bit tired; gotta wake up.

Later.

My god I'm tired...what am I still doing up? Today was a heavy traveling day. OK, not really, but I got up really early to fly from Gothenburg to Oslo. And then when I got here, I decided to stay up, not nap, so I could be nice and tired for later tonight. So here it is, later tonight, and I'm still awake. Oy.

You know what I'm doing? I'm answering emails and putting up pictures on my site. On one hand I'm thinking, "shit, I need to sleep..." and on the other hand I'm thinking, "damn, this is such an ego boost. KEEP GOING!"

A big thank you to Gothenburg for making our last Swedish show a lot of fun. It was a great way to end that part of the tour. And of course a big thank you to Stockholm and Malmo as well...and can't forget Helsinki..or London. Fuck, the entire European continent! Thanks!!!

So I'm in Oslo now. Beautiful city, plenty of BB's, but damn is this place expensive. I swear to God, I got a Big Mac meal that costs $15 American! Fifteen-fucking-dollars for a Big Mac, fries and a bottle of water. I was hoping that I would be getting blown by a Norwegian whore while I ate it. That would make it worth it...just barely.

Anyway, I'm going to answer a few more emails and hit the ol' sack. Thanks again to everyone who's come out to the shows so far, you guys have been amazing!

So the youtube issue is solved. It took a lot of emailing, patience and praying, but everything is back online...thank God/Jesus/Buddah/L. Ron Hubbard/Oprah..whoever it was that had a hand in this. Thank you.

So I'm sitting in my hotel room with 2.5 hours before my show.

I had a fun day today. I met up with someone I haven't seen in over 20 years. She was my family's aupair when I was 10 years old. It was such a fucking mind trip. I mean the last time she saw me I was this little kid who dreamt of being a comedian, and now I am a professional comedian performing in her home town of Stockholm! What the fuck??? Life is so weird.

You know, roads in your life cross other people's and sometimes you don't think you'll ever come upon thier road again, but then, somehow, life leads you back there. I never thought I'd be touring Europe, and here I am. And because of that, I got to see someone who was very important to me in my childhood.

Anyway, it was wonderful to see her. After that, I found the only laudry mat in Stockholm and did my laundry. It was way overdue. Some might say, "Well Flip, why didn't you just use the hotel's laudry service?" Because it's waaaaaay too over-priced. I already had an issue with that last year in Canada. (you can read about it here...around 10/25) It was nice though; I got to see some more of Stockholm and I felt pretty productive.

So like I said, I'm just relaxing a bit before the show.

Oh, speaking of shows, I want to thank the crowd from last night. Despite the fact that it was a late show (10:00 PM) and it was a Thursday, you guys definitely were a lot of fun and had a whole bunch of energy...good for you! Can't wait to see what the rest of the week will be.

Alright, gonna watch some TV and get psyched. See ya later...or as they say in Sweden...see ja later. Or something like that.

I am so fucking pissed! Youtube suspended my account because of a huge misunderstanding about a clip I posted. Long story short, Viacom thought that I posted one of thier videos because I mention that my sketch "Asshole" is an "MTV spoof"...mother fucker! So now I'm dealing with them via email, meanwhile everyone who goes to youtube looking for my clips aren't finding them! Ahhh!

Anyways, just wanted you to know that and that you can still see a bunch of clips on this site and on my MySpace page.

We just got into Stockholm and I'm just answering emails and then I have to get ready for our first show...it's neverending.

Oh, thank you so much to everyone in Malmo, you guys rocked! So far every town has been amazing; London, Helsinki and Malmo. This tour is too much fun. OK, gotta go, cya later.

It feels kinda strange to be in a foreign country today, Sept. 11. It seems like I should be in America now because it was such a tragic day six years ago. But, as they say, "you gotta work"...well, I don't know exactly who says that, but I'm sure it's been said.

But if I'm not home, at least I'm in a wonderful place to perform. I tell ya, I'm loving Europe right now. I'm in Malmö Sweden and it is just beautiful here. I'm looking forward to the first show, which is in 3 and a half hours. We're only here for 3 days and then we drive to Stockholm. Now it's really feeling like a tour.

Like in London and Helsinki, we were there for about a week in each town, so I got a little comfortable with the places, now I'm barely unpacking. Hey, the life of a rock star...well, comedy star...well comedy "slightly successful guy". :)

Speaking of Helsinki, I just can't thank you all for all of the wonderful emails, comments and myspace messages. I am truly overwhelmed by your response to my show. I hope that I can come back soon. Seriously, you guys are great. Oh, in case you missed it, here's a "thank you" video from Pablo and I.

I migt've mispronounced that last part, but you know what I meant.

So other than that, I'm just relaxing. I got a great night's sleep and was up at a decent hour. Although I'm yawning right at this minute, I am pretty well rested.

It's weird, I feel like I'm in summer camp or something. Like I know that this is so much fun, but I also know that it's going to end soon. Damn. See, that's one of my problems. I think too much about tomorrow and don't really live for today. Gotta work on that.

OK, well I am going to do a little work and get ready for my shows. We have two tonight. Later!

9/8/07
Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! I can't express how much I love the audiences here in Helsinki. You guys are beyond amazing! Kiitos!!!!!

In case you can't tell, the shows have all been stellar; just beyond what I had ever thought they could be. I can't say it enough, "wow". Tonight we had 2 shows, one at 4:00 and the other at 9:00, both sold out, both amazing. I actually sold out of my DVDs! How insane is that? I'm sorry to everyone who asked for one, I should have some more in about a month.

Well, I'm feeling a bit shitty health wise now, got a bad cough. So I'm going to go to bed now, but I'll see the rest of you on the tour! Night...and, again , wow Helsinki..wow!

9/6/07
OK, it's 3:00 AM and I am exhausted, but I just had to say THANK YOU HELSINKI!!!

Tonight's show was amazing! I can't thank everyone who showed up to this show...all 1400 of you! Wow, just wow.

I'll go into more detail later, I'm just so tired now. But, again, what a way to start this week of shows. Thanks..er, kiitos!

9/3/07
Greetings from Helsinki, home of...uh...I have no idea.

So it's 2:30 am and I'm lying in my bed, awake...again! Fuck. Last night I couldn't get to sleep because I knew we had to get up early for our flight. So all day I was tired, but I forced myself to stay up to 9:00 so I could at least wake up at like 7:00 am...no such luck.

Well, hopefully I can fall to sleep soon.

Helsinki, from the little I've seen today, is beautiful. Kinda like something out of a postcard really. I had some authentic Finnish/Chinese food today.

What's weird about being here now is that, unlike London, English is not the first language. So not that much is written in English and not everyone speaks it that well. I'm a little worried about performing here now. I mean I felt that way about Stockholm last year and it was fine, so I guess it'll be fine here. Hell, they wouldn't pay to see Pablo if they didn't understand him, right?

That's another thing, apparently the only comedian to ever sell any big show was a local and that was for about 1,000 people. Pablo, on the other hand, has sold out six shows of 1,400 people! Is that insane!? I can't wait to see these crowds, they've got to be going ape shit.

I can't imagine actually selling that many seats in a foreign country. I know that Pablo is blown away by this too. I tell ya, he's a great guy, I can't thank him enough for this opporitunity.

Anyway, I'm going to try and force myself back into a comatic sleep. Comatic? Is that a word? Fuck, it is now.

Greetings all, I am, once again, lying in my hotel room bed about to crash out. My body is somewhat back on schedule, but I still am a bit flustered.

Today was fun, I went to Buckingham Palace and the London Eye. So amazing. I mean it's just unreal.

Well, not just the sheer sight of those things, but the fact that I'm here, I mean I'm really here. Mother fucker! It hit me today that I'm touring Europe! For a fucking month! Are you shitting me?!

How many people get to do this? And I'm not trying to brag or be big-headed about this, I'm just taking the time to look outside of myself and say, "Good for you Flip. You are a success."

OK, OK, I'm done patting myself on the back.

The show last night was really good. To be honest, I thought I was just "OK", but I got such amazing feedback from the audience afterwards. I guess it seemed 'ok' to me, but they really enjoyed it. Thank you London for being so you!

Well kids, I am tired so I'm going to call it a night...night.
